Your School opened on 21 June 1987 and is run by the Shikshan Sanstha. Nursery to HSC, on one eight-acre campus in Nagpur.

Our story

Where it began

Your School opened on 21 June 1987, in a rented hall, with Std 1 to 4. The Shikshan Sanstha, chaired by Mr. Dinkar Raut, founded it. The school follows the Maharashtra State Board, in English medium, with classes from Nursery up to HSC.

The foundation stone of the present building was laid in 1994. The Jr. College, with Science and Commerce, began in 2005, and a digital library opened in 2018. The school is nearly forty years old.

History

Nearly forty years, one campus

From Std 1 to 4 in a rented hall in 1987 to Nursery to Std 12 and a Jr. College on one campus. Drag the tape, or scroll it sideways.

1987

The school opens

On 21 June 1987, in a rented hall, with Std 1 to 4. The Shikshan Sanstha founds it.

1994

Foundation stone laid

The foundation stone of the present building is laid.

2005

Jr. College begins

Science and Commerce streams extend the school up to HSC.

2018

The digital library

A digital library opens beside the shelves.

2026

One campus, four stages

Nursery to Std 12, with Pre-Primary, Primary, Secondary and Jr. College together.

What we stand for

Four values guide the school

The school names knowledge, discipline, service and fitness as its guiding values. The first three make up its motto.

  • Knowledge

    Learning for understanding, in the classroom, the library and the labs.

  • Discipline

    Punctuality, order and respect, practised in the school day and on the parade ground.

  • Service

    Helping the community around the school, as NSS volunteers and NCC cadets do.

  • Fitness

    A strong body for a clear mind: yoga, kho-kho, kabaddi and athletics.

Who runs the school

The Shikshan Sanstha

The Shikshan Sanstha is the education society that founded the school in 1987. It runs the school and the Jr. College as one campus, and its chairman is Mr. Dinkar Raut.

The Sanstha’s work is in education alone: classrooms, labs, a library, and the grounds where children play and train.
